Yes I only took the shot last week. It has been there for years; I can't believe  I didn't make the connection before.

Colin Pratt raced Tiger, built in timber to a Levi design. These boats must have come out of a mound taken off Tiger.

Pete

according to a source who was in contact with Colin Pratt after I made some contact through AOPC site there were only 3 hulls produced from Colin's race boat which was 24 ft mould.
However the fine nose and planking is very close to the design,

thanks for posting
I had been in touch with Tong Walton, however this was a dead end
looks like the hull I have maybe shortened version or copy taken form the original wooden hull
anyways I moved on a rebuilding boat
have semi finished transom which was rotten and rebuilt the back 1m of stringers as they were rotten as well

trial fitted the surface drive
and test fitted the BBC, Daytona crashbox, and Z-drive

looks to line up correctly, however just a little worried about the weight of engine being 500mm from transom
I suppose could always position the fuel tank near transom to add some weight, or flip the shaft over o the Z-drive to make it parallel and turn motor, gearbox around and position parallel drive up front and run driveshaft from surface drive to parallel drive
